No, you can book directly with us. However, if you’d like to access Medicare rebates, you will need a referral and a mental health care plan from your GP.

The first session is usually an opportunity to get to know you and understand your goals. Your psychologist will ask questions about your current concerns, background, and what you’d like to achieve in therapy. Together, you’ll develop a plan for ongoing support.

A general psychologist has completed a minimum 4-year accredited degree and is fully registered.
A clinical psychologist has completed 6–8 years of training, including a Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
A clinical registrar is undergoing the final phase of supervised clinical practice.
Rebate amounts differ depending on qualifications.Our team is comprised of both, and will provide the services you require!

Yes! We provide comprehensive assessments using gold-standard tools such as ADOS-2, WISC-V, ABAS-3, and Conners 4, tailored to your child's presentation. More information about our assessment fees can be found here.

Of course we know that individuals have altering capacity for appointment duration. Please discuss with us reducing session times, we are happy to accomodate you.

Our clinic is located in Benson House. We recommend clients park in Toowong Village and use the bridge to walk across. We are loacted on level four. You are then able to use the lift; we are located on level four, to the right. Here is more information about visiting us.

Occupational Therapists, often knowns as OT’s, help people develop the skills they need for daily life, school, work, and leisure. They focus on meaningful activities like self-care, learning, play, motor skills, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday routines.

Yes! We work with both plan-managed and self-managed participants, providing services including Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Physiotherapy.

Yes, to respect clinician time and allow others access to appointments, we ask for at least 2 full business days notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee. Find out more about why we charge a cancellation fee here.

The number of sessions depends on the nature of the concerns being addressed. We aim to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs, balancing your goals with the financial investment involved. We will work together to determine the appropriate frequency for your sessions.
Speech Therapy

Speech pathologists support people with communication and swallowing difficulties. This may include speech clarity, understanding and using language, social communication, literacy, voice, fluency (stuttering), and mealtime/swallowing safety.

You can still access services privately. We also accept private health insurance (check with your fund for rebate eligibility).

Yes. We offer in-clinic, telehealth, and some after-school or after-hours sessions, depending on clinician availability.

Your practitioner will send the link to you via phone or email. This will be sent at the time of your appointment or 10 minutes prior. Please reach out to our admin team if you do not receive the link at the time of your appointment!

To book with the Spectrum Services Team, please call, email or use the self referral form on our site. One of our friendly team members will contact you and follow up ASAP.

We do not have parking attached to our building. You may be able to locate a park in the streets behind our building though. The best place to park is at Toowong Village where you can get 3hrs for free. We are also close to public transport routes, and directly across the road from Toowong Train Station. Please use the pedestrian overpass to get to our side of Benson St and locate Benson House. We are on Level 4, Suite 60.

The physiotherapist will discuss your concerns, complete movement and physical assessments, and design a therapy plan. Goals are developed collaboratively and may include exercises, play-based movement, and strategies for home or school.

Yes, your privacy is a priority. Information is kept confidential unless written consent is provided to share it with others. The only exceptions are if we are legally required to disclose information or if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others.
