Spectrum Services Queensland Occupational Therapist Jo Too

Jo is a caring and dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting both children and adults to achieve their goals and build independence in ways that are meaningful to them.

She has four years of experience working across paediatric clinics and community-based private practice, where she has supported a wide range of clients and developed group programs to help children learn, connect, and thrive.

Her therapeutic approach is neuroaffirming and strengths-focused. Jo draws on play-based therapy with children, sensory-based strategies, assistive technology, and occupational performance coaching to tailor support to each individual’s unique needs and preferences. She works with clients aged 5 and older, helping them develop practical skills, confidence, and participation in daily life.

Jo has a particular interest in working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with ADHD. She is committed to ensuring her practice is inclusive, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based approaches that empower clients and their families.

Outside of her clinical work, Jo enjoys staying active through sports and spending time with friends over a good board game.

Jo grew up in Malaysia before moving to Australia in year 12, so she understands how hard it can be adapting to new places and people. She speaks conversational Mandarin, so please feel free to help her to refresh her skills in Mandarin. Jo enjoys sports like basketball, football, and cycling. She is a HUGE board game fan and loves playing board games with friends. Jo has an impressive stash with too many board games to name, she needs more shelves to store them all!
