Jenny Xu
Educational and Developmental Psychologist
Jenny is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist with experience across private clinics, primary schools, and hospital settings. She has provided psychological support to children, adolescents, and adults and has conducted psychometric assessments for children and young people to help guide intervention and support planning.
Jenny takes a holistic approach to therapy, creating a warm and nurturing environment where clients feel supported in improving their mental health and well-being. She is particularly passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families to make meaningful changes that enhance everyday life and foster positive growth.
In her previous private practice roles, Jenny supported children with complex presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, and attachment difficulties. She places great importance on partnering with parents and carers, helping them feel empowered to support their child in practical, everyday ways.
Jenny is trained in evidence-based parenting programmes, including Triple P, Circle of Security, and 123 Magic. She is also fluent in Mandarin/Chinese, which allows her to provide accessible and culturally sensitive support to families from diverse backgrounds.
