Lovica Sharma
Psychologist
Lovica is a warm, authentic, and neuroaffirming psychologist who is passionate about supporting individuals across the lifespan to navigate life’s challenges in a way that honours their unique identities. She collaborates with clients to foster self-understanding, emotional resilience, and meaningful growth, always within a respectful and strengths-focused framework.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both private practice and inpatient hospital settings. Lovica supports clients with a wide range of experiences, including anxiety and mood concerns, neurodivergence (such as autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental profiles), trauma, interpersonal challenges, and significant life transitions. She also works with individuals navigating educational or occupational stress, identity, self-worth, and relationship difficulties.
Lovica has a particular interest in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and are seeking support to process and address the impact of these experiences, and adolescents and adults experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating.
Lovica draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders, Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She takes an individualised approach, integrating these therapeutic frameworks to support clients in developing greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. In addition to her therapy work, she is experienced in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to support greater insight and access to appropriate supports.
