Harry Mahoney
Occupational Therapist
Harry is an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with children, teenagers and young adults, supporting them to build confidence, independence and meaningful participation in everyday life. He graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from James Cook University, where he developed a strong foundation in child development, sensory processing and functional skill building.
Harry has worked with children and young people presenting with neurodevelopmental differences, emotional regulation challenges, sensory processing needs and demand avoidance. He has a particular interest in working with PDA profiles and enjoys finding practical, low-pressure ways to support regulation, flexibility, independence and engagement. His approach is neurodiversity affirming, strength based and centred around play, creativity, collaboration and building genuine trust with the young person and their family.
Having grown up with a sibling who is neurodivergent, Harry developed an early appreciation for the diverse ways children and young people experience and engage with the world. This lived experience informs his warm, empathetic and practical approach to working alongside families.
Raised in Townsville, North Queensland, Harry values community connection and the importance of supportive environments in a young person’s development. Outside of work, he enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle and has a strong interest in the gym and sport, particularly cricket, rugby, touch football and golf.
